The Maiden Rock Retreat offers lodging for up to 16 with two private apartments and two first level bedrooms with shared handicap accessible bathroom. These apartments, like areas throughout the building, still have some of the original features from the days it operated as a creamery.
Unique characteristics of this apartment include the original Sheffield brick on one wall and the ceiling. The skylights were created from spaces left in the ceiling where there were probably large tanks or stacks.
This space sleeps 6 with a queen size bed, full size loft bed and full/queen sized Serta futon. There is a full kitchen, dining table and bathroom with shower.
This apartment also includes a gas fireplace and a small balcony overlooking Lake Pepin.
This apartment offers complete privacy from the rest of the building. You will find characteristics in this space such as original Sheffield brick, ceiling pulleys and original windows now being used as room dividers.
The two level apartment sleeps 6 with a queen size bed and two twin beds in the lower level and a queen size pull out sofa in the upstairs living room. This apartment includes a full size bathroom with tub/shower, gas fireplace, compact kitchen and dining table. You will also get an incredible view of Lake Pepin!
*Please note: ceilings in lower level are shorter than normal and may not be comfortable for anyone taller than 6'2".
For guests with mobility limitations or if you just need extra bedrooms, the Maiden Rock Retreat offers two main level bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. These bedrooms share a handi-cap accessible bathroom steps from each room.
